The QA Lead is accountable for ensuring the quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance of Kiron’s products and integrations. This role leads a distributed team of QA professionals embedded across multiple delivery teams, while remaining hands-on in defining, implementing, and executing modern quality engineering practices.
The QA Lead will own and evolve the quality strategy across the full SDLC, with a strong focus on test automation, integration quality, platform resilience and security, game integrity, and player experience. A key responsibility is the introduction and scaling of automated and AI-assisted testing capabilities to improve coverage, accelerate release cycles, and proactively identify defects and risks across complex, highly integrated gaming ecosystems.
Operating in a regulated environment, the QA Lead ensures that testing practices support regulatory compliance, accurate outcomes, and transactional integrity, while collaborating closely with engineering, product, compliance, and operations teams. Through coaching, standards, and continuous improvement, the role fosters a culture where quality is embedded across teams and platform integrations are stable, scalable, and production-ready.
Responsibilities
- Define, own, and continuously evolve the quality strategy
- Lead and mentor a team of QA practitioners embedded across multiple delivery teams, ensuring consistent standards and best practices
- Remain hands-on in testing activities, including test design, execution, review, and automation for critical features and integrations
- Drive the introduction, scaling, and maintenance of test automation across the SDLC, integrated with CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure the quality and stability of platform and game integrations, including APIs, wallets, operator platforms, and third-party services
- Establish and enforce quality standards for functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing
- Embed quality early in the SDLC through close collaboration with engineering and product teams (shift-left testing)
- LeverageAI-enabled testing capabilities to improve test coverage, efficiency, defect detection, and release confidence
- Ensure releases meet regulatory, compliance, and certification requirements, including traceability and audit readiness
- Oversee testing for high-availability, high-throughput systems
- Define and track quality metrics and KPIs, using data to drive continuous improvement and risk-based decision-making
- Support release readiness and go-live decisions by providing clear quality assessments and risk evaluations
- Collaborate withDevOps and operations teams to monitor production quality and implement feedback loops
- Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and ways of working to support faster, safer delivery
EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in aQA Lead or Senior QA role, leading QA practitioners across multiple delivery teams
- Strong hands-on testing background, including functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing
- Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and scaling test automation frameworks within the SDLC
- Experience testing distributed systems, APIs, Databases, Cloud based systems like Azure, and platform integrations
- Coaching and mentoring experience, building QA capability and quality ownership within teams
Advantageous Experience:
- Working knowledge of online gaming platforms, including game lifecycles, integrations, and release processes
- Experience operating in regulated environments, with exposure to compliance, certification, or audit requirements
- Experience in the online gaming or gambling industry, including familiarity with game providers, aggregators, or operator platforms
- Experience testing wallet, payment, and transactional systems with high availability and accuracy requirements
- Performance, load, and resilience testing of high-throughput systems
- Experience with RNG validation concepts, game math, or fairness testing (where applicable)
- Experience working with third-party vendors and external integration partners

Qualifications
- BSc/BA in ComputerScience, Engineering or a related field
- ISTQB Certified Tester
- Ability to definequality standards, metrics, and reporting to drive continuous improvement
- Strong communication andstakeholder management skills across engineering, product, and operations teams
- Solid understanding ofAgile / Scrum / DevOps delivery models and CI/CD pipelines
