Kiron Interactive was founded in 2001 in Johannesburg South Africa by a number
of private and institutional investors. The company was established as a developer
and operator of skill-based games for the internet. Our first product, Turfmaster,
was developed to replicate the Sport of Kings in a virtual world and bring the thrills
of race horse ownership to an online audience of horse racing enthusiasts.
Two proprietary websites were launched in 2001 namely Digiturf.com and Raceclubs.com. The
success of the game prompted a number of high profile online operators to integrate the
game on a white label basis on their websites.
Subsequent to this a number of virtual racing products were delivered by Kiron Interactive for
delivery across a variety of distribution platforms, including the internet, satellite
TV, mobile phones and gaming machines. These products were deployed by a number of
operators on a licensed basis.
In 2007 Kiron established a new retail division whose focus is the development of
virtual sports betting products for the gaming industry to be deployed in retail
betting shops and casinos.
